Meet Tina, an LA-native and educational powerhouse who works at the intersection of tech, education and finance. Tina Hay's company, Napkin Finance, provides a new way to learn about money in a visual, simple and fun way. We sat down with Tina to learn more about what inspires her.

Why do you do what you do?

I feel very lucky to love what I do and see the positive impact it is having on others. There is no better reward for working through the day-to-day challenges of a startup than that.

What is one thing you hope never changes?

Everything changes, but if I could hope for one thing to never change, it would be being surrounded by my amazing friends and family.

When do you feel most alive?

I feel most alive when I'm active and outdoors. I love running, hiking, biking and anything that takes me into nature.

What are you really good at, but kind of embarrassed that you're so good at it?

I'd say negotiation. I've been lucky to learn from the best and now see the art behind making a deal.

What's the hardest lesson you've had to learn?

Time is the most valuable asset. Once it's gone, you never get it back.

What's the title of the current chapter of your life?

A work in progress :)
